Since 2016, Musical Walkabout has gratefully received supplementary funding by a number of organisations, from Arts Council England, the Big Lottery Fund, to local council support. Such funding is increasingly hard to obtain, and, when successful, comes at the unpaid cost of hundreds of hours work.
